- Ripe Plums – 3 cups, pitted and chopped
- Water – 2 cups
- Sugar – 2 cups
In a sauce pan combine water, sugar and plums and let simmer for about 10 minutes till the plums are mushy. Remove from heat and cool. You can strain with a fine mesh to get a clear syrup or leave the plum chunks in to get a sauce. Pour into a glass bottle and store in the fridge. The syrup will last longer than the sauce.
